John Daviau Consulting, LLC provides guidance to colleges and universities in building comprehensive prevention programming using the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) 3-in-1 Framework.  This framework's use of integrated programs with multiple and complementary components target: (1) individual students, (2) the student population as a whole, and (3) the college and the surrounding community. While the framework focuses on the high-risk drinking behaviors of college students, the model can be used in preventing other college student risk-behaviors due to its comprehensive approach and focus on environmental strategies.

Our goal is to build the capacity of colleges and universities to implement effective prevention strategies and to remove institutional and community barriers to the implementation of these strategies.   John Daviau Consulting, LLC is experienced in assisting college and university prevention programs at all stages of development, from new program initiatives to well developed programs needing refinements to increase outcomes.
